Founded in 2012 by brothers Thom and James Elliot following an extensive culinary tour of Italy, the brand has grown from a mobile oven into a recognized fixture of the British dining landscape. The collaboration with Uber Eats is designed to meet rising consumer demand for premium food options, a sector that saw delivery volume for pizza more than double over the past year.
Gavin Smith, CEO of Pizza Pilgrims, noted that the partnership aligns with the company’s focus on convenience without compromising the dining experience. For Uber Eats, the addition of the chain is part of a wider effort to diversify its restaurant roster. Merve Basci, UK General Manager at Uber Eats, described the move as a reinforcement of the platform's commitment to delivering top-tier restaurant experiences directly to customer doorsteps.
