Previously relying on legacy radio equipment, the attraction now supports around 30 staff members with integrated communication tools. This transition allows employees to coordinate logistics, respond to visitor requests, and manage safety alerts without leaving their posts or disrupting the guest experience. According to Andy Kelly, Guest Experience Manager at the site, the shift to hands-free connectivity is a vital step in maintaining a seamless flow across the complex, which spans various zones including The Cavern Club and Abbey Road Studios.
Tom Downes, CEO of Quail Digital, noted that the challenges faced by the attraction mirror those of a high-traffic retail environment. The goal is to facilitate discreet, immediate team communication so that potential issues are resolved before they affect the visitor journey. By integrating speech recognition and group calling capabilities, the hardware enables staff to stay focused on the public while remaining connected to the broader operational team.
