The expanded 14-member board includes a diverse cohort of professionals: Juan C. Andrade of USAA, BAE Systems ethics officer Anjali Chaturvedi, and retired Army Lt. Gen. Dr. Telita Crosland, who previously directed the $61 billion Defense Health Agency. Joining them are Dr. Ross “Rusty” Segan, a combat-wounded veteran and MedTech executive; corporate governance veteran Steven E. Simms; and AI entrepreneur Nicole “Nikki” Osborn.
This leadership transition replaces outgoing board members Tiffany Daugherty, Florent Groberg, Kathy Hildreth, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Ken Hunzeker, and Lindsey Streeter. CEO Walt Piatt emphasized that the appointments are aimed at addressing the evolving requirements of service members and their families, noting that the new directors possess both the professional depth and the personal understanding of service necessary to guide the organization through its next phase of advocacy.
