Nick Boulle Returns to Endurance Racing at Indianapolis

Nick Boulle, the jeweler behind the Dallas-based deBoulle Diamond and Jewelry, returns to the cockpit this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He joins Era Motorsport for the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks, marking his first competitive outing in an LMP2 machine after a year-long hiatus from the series.

Boulle will share the No. 18 ORECA 07 LMP2 with co-driver Christian Rasmussen during the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event. The race, a two-hour and forty-minute endurance test, takes place Sunday, September 20, on the 14-turn, 2.439-mile road course. For the jeweler, the transition back into a high-performance prototype requires a swift adjustment to the demands of professional competition.

He cites the reputation of Kyle Tilley’s Era Motorsport as a primary driver for the partnership. Having previously secured a class victory at the 2017 Rolex 24 at Daytona, Boulle views the iconic Indianapolis circuit as an ideal venue for his return. The weekend festivities commence Friday, September 18, with practice sessions leading into Saturday’s qualifying rounds. Fans can follow the broadcast coverage through NBC and Peacock throughout the weekend.
