The firm’s latest AI Experience Consumer Insights Dashboard reveals that 18% of users view time-saving as their single most valuable benefit, doubling the preference rate for any other function. This shift toward utility-focused engagement is supported by high frequency usage patterns: 63% of AI users employ the technology to research topics weekly, while 50% rely on it to summarize information. Writing and editing tasks remain popular, with 46% of users engaging in these activities on a weekly basis.
Jennifer Kent, senior vice president and principal analyst at Parks Associates, notes that long-term commercial viability depends on how effectively companies demonstrate these practical outcomes. As generative AI adoption reaches 63% of U.S. internet households, with 22% of those households currently paying for services, the focus has moved toward measurable results. Whether helping users learn faster, simplify complex recommendations, or support daily decision-making, the tools that survive will be those that integrate seamlessly into the user’s need for improved productivity.
