CEO Kevin Hochman outlined a vision centered on remodeling existing locations and establishing 30 new restaurants annually by fiscal 2029. This expansion into significant new trade areas is designed to support an annual revenue growth target of 4% to 6%. Management intends to prioritize value-driven hospitality to secure a larger footprint in the competitive casual dining sector.
To balance this physical expansion with shareholder returns, the company is targeting double-digit annual percentage growth in net income per diluted share. Furthermore, Brinker plans to execute share repurchases of 3% to 5% annually, contingent on future board approvals. These financial objectives follow a four-year period of internal transformation aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing the customer experience across its global portfolio, which spans over 1,600 locations.
