The collaboration targets businesses with at least two years of operational history, seeking to bolster the private sector in alignment with the national goals of Oman Vision 2040. By integrating Beehive’s peer-to-peer digital capabilities with Taageer’s deep-rooted market experience, the initiative provides a faster alternative to traditional loan approval processes.
Taageer Finance, which counts the Oman Investment Authority among its major shareholders, brings a network of 10 branches and a history of supporting over 22,000 SME customers. Beehive, a Dubai-based platform established in 2014, has already facilitated funding for more than 270 SMEs within the Sultanate. Sheikh Khalil Al Harthy, CEO of Taageer Finance, noted that expanding this financial reach is a critical priority for the company, while Beehive Group CEO Peter Tavener emphasized that the partnership provides a vital new route for Omani entrepreneurs to scale their operations.
