Flotek Investors Face October Deadline in Securities Fraud Lawsuit

Investors who purchased Flotek Industries, Inc. securities between August 3 and August 17, 2026, face an October 26 deadline to petition the court to serve as lead plaintiff. The Rosen Law Firm is currently organizing the class action, alleging that the company misled shareholders regarding a major power project.

The pending litigation centers on claims that Flotek Industries made materially false statements concerning its involvement with the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority's power generation project. According to the complaint, the company failed to disclose significant doubts regarding the financial capacity and organizational experience of the consortium parties involved in the deal. The lawsuit contends that these omissions created a substantial risk that projected revenues would never materialize, leaving investors to bear the brunt of the subsequent market correction.

Shareholders who wish to participate in the class action or pursue the role of lead plaintiff must act before the October 26 deadline. Rosen Law Firm, which is handling the case on a contingency basis, notes that no class has yet been certified. Investors retain the right to select their own legal representation or remain absent class members, as the ability to share in any future recovery is not strictly tied to serving as a lead plaintiff in the action.
