Ryan brings two decades of experience in infrastructure architecture to his new role. As the current Managing Director of the UK-based consultancy KDBL, he is recognized for his expertise in retrieval-augmented generation and the Model Context Protocol. At CAEVES, he will collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine how unstructured enterprise data is indexed, governed, and secured across various cloud environments.
Jaap van Duijvenbode, VP of Product & Customer Experience at CAEVES, noted that Ryan’s background is critical for the company’s shift toward a multi-assistant strategy. Currently, the firm’s Intelligent Deep Storage platform is primarily utilized by Microsoft Azure customers to surface data within Microsoft 365. Ryan’s mandate involves breaking this dependency, ensuring that sensitive, regulated data remains accessible and usable for any AI platform chosen by the enterprise. The appointment signals a broader push by CAEVES to position its technology as an agnostic layer for dark data management.
