The festivities commence at 8:15 a.m. with a $2,500 donation to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, the company’s local hunger-relief partner. Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Fox City Chamber, doors will open to the public at 8:27 a.m. The new facility reflects the retailer's environmental focus, incorporating energy-efficient LED lighting and non-toxic building materials into its contemporary layout.
Raquel Isely, vice president of marketing, noted that the Appleton expansion follows the successful launch of the Lake Geneva store earlier this year. To drive initial traffic, the company is offering a variety of incentives for early shoppers, including mystery gift cards for the first 150 customers and hand-crafted bags for the first 500. Beyond the launch events, the store plans to integrate a Nutritional Health Coaching service, providing personalized guidance to patrons. The company is also implementing a Bring Your Own Bag program that directs five cents per trip to support statewide food security efforts.
