X-Golf Launches Nationwide League With $10,000 Grand Prize

Indoor golf franchise X-Golf America is turning local simulator play into a national pursuit, launching a 3v3 competition that spans 138 locations across 38 states. The X-League: Fall Season utilizes a handicapped scoring system, allowing golfers of all skill levels to compete for a $10,000 grand prize.

The tournament structure is designed to reward consistent improvement rather than raw talent alone. By using a handicapped net stroke play format, the competition ensures that participants are measured against their own potential. According to Harry Tanner, PGA Director of Golf at X-Golf America, the company’s simulator technology eliminates the potential for manipulated scorecards, as digital data tracks every shot. This setup forces players to execute real-world skills, including chipping and putting, rather than relying on the auto-generated scores often found in less sophisticated systems.

The road to the championship begins with local qualifiers, which run from late September through January 31, 2027. Successful teams will advance through regional stages in February before the final four teams head to X-Golf’s Colorado headquarters in March 2027 for the National Finals. Beyond the competitive aspect, the event highlights the growing shift toward indoor golf, which offers a weather-proof alternative to traditional outdoor rounds. With the ability to play after dark and avoid the multi-hour time commitment of a standard course, X-Golf is positioning its league nights as a social and athletic fixture for local communities.
