Ski-Doo Awards Grants to North American Snowmobile Trail Clubs

More than 50 snowmobile clubs across North America will receive up to $5,000 each in 2026 through the Ski-Doo Snow PASS program. The grants aim to bolster the grassroots organizations responsible for maintaining trails, repairing bridges, and managing land access, ensuring the sport remains viable for the upcoming winter season.

The initiative, backed by BRP Inc. and its network of dealers, has funneled over CAD $1.5 million into community-led projects since its inception. While the funding covers a broad spectrum of needs—ranging from signage improvements to volunteer recruitment—the primary focus remains on infrastructure that secures trail longevity. Three of the recipients were formally recognized at the annual Hay Days event held on September 12.

David Baker, Vice President and General Manager of Powersports for North America at BRP, noted that these local clubs serve as the backbone of the industry. By subsidizing the labor-intensive work of grooming and land maintenance, the program seeks to sustain the sport's community-driven nature. The Snow PASS grants function alongside BRP’s broader Responsible Rider initiative, which emphasizes safety and environmental stewardship in recreational snowmobiling.
