Building on millions of dollars in premium already underwritten through existing partnerships, the expansion targets the vulnerabilities inherent in property management. For rental owners, the coverage now includes protection for building structures, owner-provided contents, and lost rental income following a covered loss. This move aims to mitigate financial disruptions that often follow unexpected property damage.
Beagle is also integrating lease-embedded general liability coverage into commercial real estate. This mechanism allows tenants without compliant coverage to enroll under a master policy held by the property manager, with costs managed through the tenant ledger. The structure simplifies compliance for managers while ensuring owners remain protected as additional insureds.
For homeowners associations and co-operatives, the company is deploying master policies to cover shared assets like roofs, sports courts, and common amenities. These policies offer general liability limits of up to $2 million per occurrence, with optional umbrella coverage reaching $5 million. Robert Barlow, EVP of Partnerships at Corgi, noted that the expansion addresses the daily pressures facing property boards, where a single uncovered claim can threaten an entire association's financial health. Coverage availability remains subject to state-specific underwriting and policy terms.
