The initiative targets the common industry disconnect where device acquisition and professional credentialing operate as separate, often unrelated tracks. By integrating the POCUS Certification Academy’s training modules directly with Clarius hardware, the companies intend to move beyond simple equipment sales, providing users with a verified pathway to specialty-level proficiency. Clarius’s T-Mode technology, which overlays anatomical labels onto live ultrasound feeds, serves as the practical classroom, allowing practitioners to reinforce theoretical concepts from the curriculum at the bedside.

Laurent Pelissier, founder and CEO of Clarius Mobile Health, noted that the bundle addresses the necessity for new users to build foundational knowledge alongside their initial experience with scanning. According to Jasmine Rockett, director of the POCUS Certification Academy at Inteleos, providing a device without a validated path to competence leaves too much to clinical chance. The collaboration arrives as the point-of-care ultrasound market faces significant expansion, with projections estimating growth from $4.16 billion in 2025 to $6.35 billion by 2030. The bundle is currently available to clinicians and institutions across North America.
