The new organization arrives with a massive footprint, monitoring 98% of US roads and operating across more than 50 countries. With a network of 350,000 connected sensors adding 300 million miles of data monthly, the company captures both near-miss events and actual collisions to fuel its predictive models. These tools have already demonstrated significant results, with some enterprise fleets reporting collision loss reductions between 50 and 80 percent.

CEO Zach Greenberger emphasized that the company’s independence is its primary value proposition. Unlike competitors that manufacture vehicles or develop autonomous driving stacks, Empiric Earth acts as a neutral observer. This positioning allows the firm to supply safety insights to insurers, public agencies, and developers without the conflicts of interest inherent in proprietary systems. Existing product support and client agreements from both Nexar and Nauto remain unchanged as the firm begins its operations.
