V2X Secures $46 Million Air Force Contract for B-52 Missile Integration

The LRSO initiative serves as a cornerstone of the nation’s strategic modernization efforts, intended to phase out the aging Air-Launched Cruise Missile currently in service. By equipping the B-52 with advanced standoff capabilities, the Air Force aims to maintain long-range strike effectiveness against modern, evolving defense threats. V2X will oversee the production of the necessary carriage hardware to ensure the missile system is fully compatible with the bomber.

Jeremy C. Wensinger, President and CEO of V2X, noted that the award underscores the company’s role in supporting one of the military's highest-priority modernization programs.
