SMARTLINEN Adds Bilingual Voice Commands to AI Housekeeping Assistant

Housekeeping managers in Miami can now bypass complex software dashboards to query inventory status through real-time voice conversations. SMARTLINEN updated its AI assistant, Ask Debbie, to process verbal requests in both English and Spanish, allowing hotel staff to retrieve textile data simply by asking questions aloud during their shifts.

The update enables staff to solicit immediate answers regarding supply shortages, such as missing bath towels or pool inventory, without navigating digital reports. By integrating voice recognition into the existing platform, SMARTLINEN aims to streamline how hospitality teams interact with operational intelligence. The system analyzes live data feeds to provide verbal responses, ensuring that information remains accessible even in fast-paced laundry or hotel environments.

Beyond the voice assistant, the entire SMARTLINEN portal now supports full bilingual functionality. Team members can switch the interface between English and Spanish seamlessly, ensuring that multiple users can access identical real-time analytics regardless of their preferred language. According to President and CEO William Serbin, the core objective is to replace manual data searching with natural conversation, treating linen management as a strategic asset through cloud-based insights and integrated hardware.
