Children's Health Dallas Maintains National Ranking Across All Specialties

The rankings, which evaluate clinical outcomes, patient safety, and peer reputation, place the North Texas health system second in the state. Christopher J. Durovich, President and CEO of Children’s Health, attributed the consistency of these results to the ongoing partnership with UT Southwestern Medical Center, noting that the collaboration remains essential for managing complex pediatric cases.

Three of the hospital’s departments secured top-ten national placements: Orthopedics ranked first, Cardiology & Heart Surgery fifth, and Urology tenth. Other recognized areas include Cancer, Neurology & Neurosurgery, and Neonatology, among others. Daniel K. Podolsky, M.D., President of UT Southwestern, stated that the achievement highlights the integration of academic medicine and clinical bedside care. The hospital system, which serves over 370,000 patients annually, continues to operate with a focus on both specialized research and community-based pediatric support.
