Silberstein has served as COO at Semtech since 2023, following a long tenure in senior operations roles within the company that began in 2010. His background includes previous leadership positions at Microsemi and PowerDsine, where he specialized in global operations and business execution. Valens CEO Yoram Salinger noted that Silberstein’s expertise in navigating high-volume markets is critical as the company transitions into its next phase of growth.
For his part, Silberstein pointed to Valens’ established track record in high-performance connectivity as the primary driver for his decision to join the board. He intends to leverage his experience in scaling technology businesses to support the company’s efforts in standardizing its connectivity innovations. The appointment comes as Valens continues to integrate its chipsets into advanced driver assistance systems and professional videoconferencing infrastructure.
