Each package relies on a base of one vegetable, one grain or legume, avocado oil, pepper, and sea salt. By stripping away preservatives and additives, the manufacturer aims to appeal to health-conscious shoppers who prioritize transparency in their food sourcing.
CEO Jeff Warehime stated that the company intends for the ingredient list to remain the least surprising component of a meal. Following a limited rollout in August, Hanover Foods plans to scale distribution across its full national retail network by early 2027. Founded in 1924, the family-owned producer operates 12 facilities and manages brands including Aunt Kitty’s Foods and Bickel’s Snack Foods.
