Wix Investors Face September Deadline in Securities Class Action

Investors who purchased Wix.com Ltd. securities between February 19, 2025, and May 12, 2026, have until September 22, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation, filed in the Northern District of Illinois, accuses the company of misleading shareholders regarding its AI capabilities.

The lawsuit, Yappi v. Wix.com Ltd., alleges that executives violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by overstating the performance of AI-driven products while underestimating development costs. Central to the claims is the company's acquisition of Base44, a "vibe coding" platform. According to the complaint, these undisclosed operational hurdles and competitive pressures led to a series of stock price drops, triggered by disappointing financial results and subsequent analyst downgrades from firms including JPMorgan and UBS.

By May 2026, the company admitted that professional developer customers were migrating to competing tools and that its own platform suffered from critical capability gaps. The lead plaintiff role is open to any investor who suffered substantial losses during the specified period. Those interested in representing the class or seeking further information may contact Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, the firm overseeing the action.
