El Car Wash Adds Second Novi Site in Metro Detroit Expansion

El Car Wash is deepening its footprint in Metro Detroit with the debut of a second Novi location at Novi Town Center, marking the company’s seventh site in Michigan. The expansion follows a strategic push into the market that began in 2024 when the brand became the Official Car Wash of the Detroit Lions.

The new facility at 26100 Novi Rd. addresses surging local demand for the chain's membership-based service model. CEO Geoff Karas noted that the company is prioritizing disciplined growth in areas with high consumer interest, aiming to build density across the region. A grand-opening celebration is scheduled for September 12, featuring community engagement efforts with local organizations like the Novi Bobcats.

This growth trajectory shows no signs of slowing, as the company prepares to open an additional site at 18155 Mack Ave. in Detroit later this month. Now boasting over 100 locations nationwide and a membership base of 550,000, El Car Wash continues to scale its express service model across the Midwest and beyond.
