La Proue Brings Coastal Femininity to the 78th Emmy Awards

Amid the glitz of the 78th Emmy Awards, a new luxury fragrance house is staking its claim on Hollywood’s stage. La Proue, founded by Leighanne Neville, will debut its debut scents, Phare 143 and Voilune, inside the exclusive backstage Giving Suite, positioning its brand alongside television's most influential storytellers.

The backstage experience at the Peacock Theater will offer nominees and presenters, including Zendaya, Jamie Lee Curtis, and host Mariska Hargitay, a first look at the collection. For Neville, the venue serves as a symbolic backdrop for her brand, which is built on the philosophy of female independence and leadership. Named for the French term for a ship’s bow, the brand draws inspiration from Neville’s upbringing on the Massachusetts coast, where she was taught to navigate waters with the same autonomy as her brothers.

Crafted with clean, Leaping Bunny-certified ingredients, the two debut Eau de Parfums reflect the dual nature of coastal life. Phare 143 captures the brightness of a seaside sunrise, while Voilune leans into the atmospheric pull of dusk. Beyond the aesthetics of the scent, Neville has integrated a philanthropic mission into the company’s structure. Through the Women at the Helm Fund, the brand directs a portion of every sale toward mentoring and funding female entrepreneurs, mirroring the professional hurdles Neville observed during her own three-decade career in finance.
