The company, which has already digitized over one million SKUs across 50 countries, aims to leverage this new expertise to bridge the gap between experimental AI and practical commercial application. While much of the chemical sector remains trapped in testing cycles, Agilis has maintained production-ready AI features since 2024, providing a foundation for its new advisors to refine enterprise adoption strategies.
The board includes former Dow Chief Commercial Officer Dan Futter, who spearheaded the company’s massive e-commerce shift, and ex-Brenntag CEO Steve Holland, known for scaling chemical distribution networks. They are joined by Gerry Podesta, formerly of BASF and GE Plastics; Andreas Gocke, who led the global chemicals practice at Boston Consulting Group; and Benoit DeBecker, who managed corporate development at allnex. These advisors will provide direct oversight on product direction and commercial execution as Agilis seeks to transform fragmented industry data into scalable digital value.
