Marzano Resources launches framework for teacher development

Bloomington-based Marzano Resources has released The High Reliability Teacher, a new guide designed to standardize instructional excellence. The resource provides a structured, three-level framework aimed at helping educators refine their classroom practices through evidence-based feedback, purposeful reflection, and measurable student learning outcomes.

The High Reliability Teacher model focuses on creating a sustainable trajectory for professional growth that functions at both the individual and district levels. By moving through its progressive instructional tiers, educators are encouraged to replace guesswork with data-driven adjustments to their teaching methods. The book emphasizes the necessity of collaborative learning, providing leaders with the tools to build long-term systems for school-wide improvement.

Authored by a team led by Robert J. Marzano, the guide draws on decades of research into cognition, assessment, and effective leadership. The contributors, including Cameron L. Rains, Shelley Gies, Jonathon Lee, and Philip B. Warrick, bring experience ranging from classroom instruction to district-level administration. The resource is now available through the Marzano Resources website.
