Kagurabachi Anime World Tour Expands to Africa and Australia

The global promotional campaign for the Kagurabachi anime adaptation is heading to Johannesburg and Melbourne, as organizers confirm the second leg of the international tour. Fans in South Africa and Australia will get an early look at the series through exclusive screenings of the first 20 minutes of the opening episode.

Following a successful string of premieres across North America and Europe, the production team behind the adaptation of Takeru Hokazono’s hit Weekly Shonen Jump series is maintaining momentum. The tour reaches Comic Con Africa in Johannesburg on September 27, 2026, followed by a screening at PAX Aus in Melbourne on October 11, 2026. Both events will feature panel sessions with producer Kenta Suzuki, providing fans with deeper insight into the project's development.

The anime is helmed by studio Cypic, with director Tetsuya Takeuchi and character designer Keigo Sasaki leading the creative team. Taihi Kimura, who earned the Best New Actor award at the 2025 Seiyu Awards, provides the voice for the protagonist, Chihiro Rokuhira. With the original manga having surpassed 4 million copies in circulation, anticipation remains high for the full broadcast scheduled for April 2027. Further details regarding the tour's final leg in Japan and the third international phase are expected to be announced this autumn.
