ECOVACS Debuts OZMO ROLLER 3.0 at IFA 2026

The core of the new system lies in its ability to refresh the cleaning surface in real-time. While traditional robots often drag dirt across a room as a mop pad saturates, the OZMO ROLLER 3.0 employs a spray-wash-scrape process that constantly removes wastewater. This ensures the roller maintains contact with the floor using only clean material. With over 2.8 million units equipped with previous iterations already in circulation, ECOVACS is shifting the focus from simple suction power to active floor maintenance.

Technological refinements in this latest generation include a longer roller surface and the transition to a μm-level microfiber material designed to minimize moisture residue. These mechanical changes are supported by the company's existing suite of navigation and AI tools, such as TruEdge 3.0 for edge cleaning and AI Stain Detection. Backed by a research investment exceeding RMB 5.2 billion since 2018, the firm is positioning this iteration as a standard-setter for the automated floor-care industry.
