LX Pantos Delivers French-Made Missiles for Korean Marine Helicopters

A specialized charter flight carrying air-to-air missiles arrived at Incheon International Airport from France this week, marking the completion of a high-security defense logistics mission. The cargo, destined for the Republic of Korea Marine Corps' attack helicopter program, required complex international clearance across 14 separate nations.

The shipment, commissioned by Korea Aerospace Industries, originated at Châteauroux Airport in France. To ensure the safety of the Class 1 explosives, LX Pantos utilized a dedicated charter aircraft, ensuring no other cargo was aboard during the transit. Once the missiles landed in Korea, they were transported by road to a Marine Corps facility in Pohang under strict security protocols.

Executing this transport required adherence to International Air Transport Association standards for dangerous goods alongside national aviation safety regulations. LX Pantos leveraged its global network of subsidiaries to secure the necessary overflight permits across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. This project follows the company's 2024 security assessment rating from the Defense Counterintelligence Command and its attainment of the highest TISAX information security level. As the firm expands its defense logistics footprint, officials emphasize that this successful operation confirms their capacity to manage the stringent requirements of global military supply chains.
