Scott brings five years of internal experience to his new position, having previously served as Technology Product Manager for Online. His transition marks a period of significant technical investment for the retailer, which is now integrating NIQ’s Full View platform to synchronize market intelligence across online, convenience, and physical supermarket channels. This partnership aims to provide staff with automated reporting and self-service analytics to improve decision-making agility.
Simultaneously, Morrisons is scaling its physical store technology by deploying Everseen’s Evercheck solution. Following a successful trial, the system is rolling out to 200 locations, utilizing real-time computer vision to monitor self-checkouts. The software allows customers to resolve scanning errors independently via on-screen prompts, a move designed to reduce queue times and allow store personnel to prioritize direct customer service. According to Everseen CEO Joe White, the platform aims to prove that operational efficiency and high-quality customer experience can function as complementary rather than competing priorities.
