NeuralTrust Expands to London as UK Firms Rush AI Agent Deployment

As UK enterprises accelerate the shift from AI experimentation to autonomous production, Barcelona-based NeuralTrust has established a dedicated London hub at 167 Great Portland Street. The expansion aims to provide specialized security oversight for firms struggling to govern AI agents that operate beyond the reach of traditional enterprise controls.

The new office serves as the central base for the company’s UK operations, catering to a client roster that spans the financial services and technology sectors. According to CEO Joan Vendrell, the decision to plant roots in London reflects a local market sophistication regarding the unique risks posed by autonomous systems. Unlike standard software, AI agents execute actions and access data at machine speed, creating vulnerabilities like unauthorized tool usage and prompt injection that legacy security tools fail to detect.

NeuralTrust’s platform offers a multi-layered defense system, featuring TrustGate for policy enforcement, TrustGuard for runtime threat detection, and TrustTest for proactive red teaming. This infrastructure is intended to bridge the governance gap that Gartner predicts will force 40% of enterprises to decommission autonomous agents by 2027 if left unmanaged. With a record-breaking $20 million seed round secured in June 2026, the company is now scaling its headcount across engineering and customer success teams to support this regional growth. UK Managing Director Cameron Brown noted that the physical presence allows for the granular collaboration required to secure high-stakes environments, such as global airlines and banking systems, as they transition to agentic workflows.
