The appointment coincides with the launch of Bodycare’s third Studio Store in Leicester, which features a free-to-use Creator Studio. This space is designed to serve as a collaborative hub for local influencers, schools, and community groups, reflecting the brand’s ambition to blend traditional retail with social engagement. Charles Denton, who leads the investor group that acquired the brand following its 2025 administration, views these stores as the foundation for a significant national rollout.
Bodycare currently operates in Sheffield, Derby, and Leicester, with plans to scale to 15 UK locations by the end of 2026. The company intends to grow its portfolio to 150 stores over the next five years, emphasizing a model that prioritizes local identity and experiential shopping. Thapar’s role will be central to this transition, tasked with building partnerships that bridge the gap between digital creators and the physical high street.
