Investors Face October Deadline in UWM Holdings Securities Lawsuit

Investors who purchased UWM Holdings Corporation securities between March 9 and August 5, 2026, have until October 13 to move the court to serve as lead plaintiff in a pending class action lawsuit, according to a notice issued by the Rosen Law Firm.

The litigation alleges that UWM Holdings misled shareholders regarding its risk management strategies. Specifically, the complaint claims the company deviated from its long-standing policy of not hedging mortgage servicing rights, instead taking a significant hedge position ahead of the Two Harbors transaction. Plaintiffs contend that this shift resulted in excess hedging risk, rendering the company’s public statements about its business operations materially false or misleading.

Investors who purchased shares during the specified period may be eligible for compensation through a contingency fee arrangement, meaning no out-of-pocket costs are required. While a class action lawsuit has already been filed, no class has yet been certified. Investors retain the right to select their own counsel, remain an absent class member, or apply to lead the litigation. Those wishing to participate or obtain further details are directed to the Rosen Law Firm’s website or contact Phillip Kim at 866-767-3653.
