The RayNeo GT Series, including the GT Max, marks a significant industry milestone as the first AR glasses to support Dolby Vision playback. By pairing the hardware with the RayNeo Pocket TV Pro, users can stream content with enhanced contrast and color depth, further refined by audio tuning from Bang & Olufsen. Engineers from the Danish firm focused on improving low-frequency performance within the compact frame, aiming to deliver a balanced sound profile suitable for gaming and media consumption.
Parallel to the entertainment-focused GT line, the company introduced the RayNeo iO. Weighing 33 grams, the glasses are designed for everyday AI assistance, utilizing a heads-up display to surface navigation cues, notifications, and live translations. The device supports voice recording with AI-generated summaries and integrates with various large language models to assist with productivity tasks. Both product lines received recognition as Honorees of the IFA Innovation Awards 2026.
RayNeo enters the event following a period of strong market performance. Data from Counterpoint Research and IDC for the first half of 2026 ranks the company first in global AR glasses shipments. Retail availability for the new lineup begins September 4, spanning 40 countries, with the iO starting at US$499 and the GT Series priced from US$329.
