Sinnema arrives with over 12 years of leadership experience, having previously scaled the engineering organization at Eye Security through a €60M Series C round. His background includes a tenure as Director of Engineering at HackerOne and a stint as founder and CTO of the privacy platform SmartLockr. At Datamaran, his mandate involves accelerating the development of the company’s core software, which provides data-backed insights on regulatory shifts and stakeholder expectations.

CEO Marjella Lecourt-Alma noted that Sinnema’s experience in building technical culture from the ground up is vital as the company transitions from traditional ESG issue management to a broader AI-powered governance model. Sinnema himself highlighted the opportunity to tackle complex, high-leverage problems within a shifting risk landscape, signaling a clear push for the firm to integrate more sophisticated AI architecture into its existing product suite.
