Poposoap Brings Solar-Powered Water Gardens to IFA 2026

At the Global Connect Show in Berlin, Poposoap transformed a standard exhibition space into a functional, solar-powered water garden. By integrating modular ponds, fountains, and waterfall kits, the company demonstrated a DIY-friendly approach to outdoor landscaping designed to bypass the complexities of traditional electrical installations and liner construction.

The installation featured a preformed rigid pond, which eliminates the need for manual cutting or shaping of liners. By excavating to match the pre-shaped mold, users can establish a pond structure that maintains its form under pressure while utilizing built-in planting zones to support local ecosystems. The setup was powered entirely by solar energy, utilizing a battery backup to ensure functionality during cloudy weather or evening hours.

To complete the scene, Poposoap added a solar-powered fountain pump and a waterfall kit. These components provide water circulation and aeration without requiring external power sources, catering to international markets including the United States, Germany, France, and Spain. Ruby Ling, CEO of Poposoap, noted that the objective is to lower the barrier for home gardeners who often hesitate due to the perceived technical difficulty of building water features.

This Berlin showcase follows the company’s expansion into the U.K. and Germany earlier this year. With recognition such as a French Design Award and a nomination for the 2026 German Innovation Award for its 40W Filtration Fountain, Poposoap is positioning its modular, eco-conscious systems as a standard for sustainable residential landscaping.
