Despite its diminutive profile, the drive achieves read speeds of 1,050 MB/s and write speeds of 1,000 MB/s, supporting direct ProRes 4K video recording at 120 fps. Available in 512GB and 1TB capacities, the Muse is expected to hit the market in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Beyond consumer hardware, Lexar used the IFA stage to introduce its AI Storage Core, a suite of technologies aimed at high-performance computing. By utilizing a 5 nm Storage Processing Unit and Luma Bridge architecture, the company claims it can reduce DRAM capacity requirements by approximately 40% while handling complex AI models.
