Michael Davis named Interim Chief Technology and Data Officer at Domino's

After an 18-year tenure that began behind the wheel of a delivery vehicle, Michael Davis has been appointed Interim Chief Technology and Data Officer at Domino’s Pizza. He now moves from his role as Senior VP of Global Store Technology to bridge the gap between technical operations and executive leadership.

Davis’s career path at the fast-food giant reflects a deep integration with the company's practical operations. His background includes founding Davis Systems—where he developed a point-of-sale platform later adopted by the pizza chain—and managing global IT franchise operations. Most recently, he led the development of the DOM OS store strategy, focusing on ensuring that digital tools function reliably for franchisees on the ground.

In his new capacity, Davis will oversee global technology initiatives aligned with the company’s MORE strategy. He emphasized his intention to maintain momentum in technological innovation by working closely with internal teams, franchisees, and external partners to translate executive vision into daily store-level execution.
