The appointment comes as H&M continues to deepen its integration of AI-driven tools across its global network. A central pillar of this strategy is the ongoing partnership with GreyOrange, which provides inventory software and sensor-based technology now active in over 3,800 retail locations worldwide. The collaboration utilizes RFID readers and smart mirrors to generate real-time inventory heat maps, allowing staff to optimize product placement and streamline shelf replenishment.
David Pino, Head of Emerging Technology at H&M, emphasized that the company’s technical scaling relies on a specialized understanding of how fulfillment and store workflows intersect. By deploying the GreyMatter orchestration platform, H&M aims to refine these processes to manage the complex omnichannel demands of modern fashion retail. Miranda’s new role will focus on driving these technological initiatives on a broader, global scale.
