Kroy Biermann Jr. Indicted on Seven Criminal Charges in Georgia

A Georgia grand jury has indicted Kroy Biermann Jr., the son of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, on seven criminal counts including aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. The indictment follows his arrest last month regarding an alleged assault involving a high school classmate at a fitness facility.

The legal proceedings stem from an incident reported at a Lifetime Fitness in April, where a classmate accused the teenager of forcing her to perform sexual acts and engaging in unwanted physical contact. Court documents detail specific allegations of aggravated sexual battery and false imprisonment. Since the arrest, the reality star has vehemently defended her son, labeling the accusations as reckless and deeply troubling. Zolciak maintains that her son has passed a polygraph examination and highlights the absence of forensic DNA evidence linking him to the alleged victim. She further contends that the accuser has leveled similar claims against other individuals, suggesting a pattern that warrants deeper scrutiny.

Defense attorney Jason Sheffield is currently challenging the prosecution’s case, emphasizing his client’s innocence while criticizing the public nature of the proceedings given the juvenile status of those involved. Sheffield has petitioned the court for the teenager’s release, citing his record of academic achievement, athletic scholarship offers, and a strong support network of family and coaches. As the legal process unfolds, the family continues to advocate for privacy, while the prosecution moves forward with the formal charges filed against the high school student.
