Denver’s Autumn Calendar: From Cultural Exhibits to Oktoberfest

The city’s autumn schedule is anchored by the "DIVA" exhibition, which runs from October 4 through January 10, 2027, showcasing over 50 costumes worn by icons ranging from Maria Callas to Rihanna. Simultaneously, Denver’s culinary and brewing scene remains a primary draw. The Great American Beer Festival moves to a new outdoor venue at Levitt Pavilion on October 10–11, while local neighborhood gatherings like the Highlands Oktoberfest and the multi-weekend Denver Oktoberfest continue to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors.

Beyond entertainment, the city is leaning into its geographic diversity to extend the fall tourism season. Because of varying elevations within a two-hour drive, the region offers an elongated foliage window, with aspen groves beginning their transition in the high country in mid-September before the colors descend into the foothills and plains by November.
