Direct financial support remains the core of the foundation’s operations. Recent capital allocations demonstrate a diverse geographic and biological focus: the Tanzania Lion Illumination Project has secured 750 livestock bomas, while the Eco Defense Group continues anti-poaching patrols in Kruger National Park. Habitat restoration also took center stage, with the Wild Sheep Society of British Columbia utilizing prescribed burns to restore 2,500 acres of Stone’s sheep territory. Meanwhile, in the United States, a $20,000 grant provided the Wyoming Game and Fish Department with 25 GPS collars to monitor mule deer migration patterns in relation to wind energy infrastructure.
