ASUS Scales AI Infrastructure from Data Centers to the Industrial Edge

At the ASUS AI Tech 2026 summit in Seoul, the company unveiled an expanded ecosystem of AI-driven hardware, deepening its strategic partnerships with Intel and AMD. This push aims to transition AI deployment beyond traditional cloud environments, introducing high-performance server platforms and ruggedized solutions for real-time edge processing.

The company’s updated portfolio targets both enterprise-scale computing and demanding industrial environments. For data centers, ASUS introduced the RS700-E12-RS4U and RS720-E12-RS12U, which utilize Intel Xeon 6 processors to manage high-intensity workloads. Complementing these, the XA P8I-E13A system integrates next-generation Intel architecture to support advanced GPU acceleration. On the AMD front, the new RS720A-E14B-R32U and RS500A-E14B-R12U servers leverage EPYC 9006 Series CPUs, while the ESC8000A-E13P incorporates AMD Instinct MI350P accelerators to handle inference and agentic AI tasks.

Beyond the server room, ASUS is addressing the physical requirements of industrial AI with its new RUC-2000 series embedded computers. Unlike standard data center hardware, these fanless units are engineered to survive extreme temperatures, electrical noise, and power instability found in manufacturing plants and healthcare facilities. Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, the series provides up to 180 AI TOPS, enabling localized video analytics and machine vision without the latency or security risks associated with cloud-based data transmission.
