The integration connects the entire store catalog—ranging from USDA-certified organic fruits and vegetables to dietary supplements and household essentials—directly to the DoorDash platform. By utilizing the app, users can either schedule deliveries or request them on-demand, with Dashers fulfilling orders by shopping directly from the shelves of local outlets. Despite the digital transition, the company maintains its long-standing pricing model, ensuring that the 'Always Affordable' rates found in-store remain consistent for delivery customers.
Raquel Isely, vice president of marketing at Natural Grocers, noted that the move is designed to accommodate busy families and professionals who prioritize quality but require more flexible shopping options. The retailer has also integrated its {N}power rewards program into the digital interface. By linking their account phone numbers, members can access specific loyalty pricing without needing to create separate profiles, effectively mirroring the in-store experience. This expansion covers the company’s entire footprint, spanning 22 states where the Lakewood, Colorado-based chain currently operates.
