Cybersecurity startup Huskeys secures $27 million in Series A funding

Huskeys has raised $27 million in a Series A round led by Blackstone Innovations Investments, pushing the cybersecurity firm’s total capital to $35 million. The company aims to address vulnerabilities in complex network edge environments, which CEO Itai Gafni describes as increasingly ill-served by legacy security tools.

The funding round attracted a broad coalition of backers, including Merlin Ventures, Zscaler Ventures, Okta Ventures, and SV Angel. Notable individual participants include WAF and CAPTCHA inventor Eran Reshef, alongside senior leadership from industry giants such as AWS, Google, Microsoft, and Palo Alto Networks. Huskeys currently processes over a trillion web requests daily for a client roster that includes TikTok, LEGOLAND, and Hugging Face.

Blackstone’s Chief Information Security Officer, Adam Fletcher, noted that the investment reflects a shift in how organizations defend internet-facing applications against AI-driven threats. By providing a real-time intelligence layer to monitor traffic, Huskeys intends to bridge the gap between traditional infrastructure and modern security demands, ensuring that network edges function as assets rather than liabilities for global enterprises.
