StrongPoint to automate Lindas Dekor warehouse logistics

Norwegian home improvement retailer Lindas Dekor has tapped StrongPoint to overhaul its logistics operations with a new AutoStore system. The family-owned business aims to boost e-commerce scalability and warehouse efficiency through a specialized technical integration that combines high-density storage with advanced robotic fulfillment capabilities.

The agreement centers on a customized automated solution designed to optimize the retailer's inventory handling. The installation will feature a compact footprint comprising 6,000 storage bins, two high-speed VersaPorts, and a fleet of six robots. This infrastructure is intended to streamline order processing and improve long-term performance for the growing online shop.

This contract marks another expansion for StrongPoint, which has recently focused on scaling its presence in the automated retail sector. Earlier this year, the firm secured a deal with Iceland Foods to trial a SaaS-based order picking system, setting the stage for a proof-of-value phase scheduled for 2026. StrongPoint CEO Jacob Tveraabak noted that these partnerships serve as validation for the company’s grocery e-commerce strategy, which prioritizes both operational efficiency and simplified workflows for store personnel.
