Herzog spent nearly two decades with the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in Los Angeles and Spokane, Washington. During his tenure, he served as Chief of Appeals and Deputy Criminal Chief, managing multijurisdictional investigations involving organized crime and human trafficking. This background in coordinating large-scale evidence and overseeing complex trial strategies directly informs his new role, where he will advise corporate clients on products liability, class action defense, and regulatory investigations.
Greenberg Traurig CEO Brian L. Duffy cited Herzog’s rare combination of leadership and courtroom judgment as a key asset for the firm’s clients. Los Angeles co-managing shareholders Gregory A. Fishman and Barbara A. Jones noted that Herzog’s ability to navigate cases from initial investigation through to trial and appeal fills a strategic need for their growing pipeline of arbitration and litigation work. A graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, Herzog is admitted to practice law in California.
