TCOM Lands $600 Million Defense Deal for Polish Aerostat Surveillance

These aerostat systems integrate Active Electronically Scanned Array radar with electronic warfare capabilities, allowing for continuous, long-range monitoring. By elevating sensors, the platforms provide a constant stream of situational awareness that feeds directly into existing command-and-control networks, bridging gaps often left by ground-based radar.

Ron Bendlin, President and CEO of TCOM, noted that the deal reflects the growing reliance on persistent surveillance within modern defense strategies. To meet the demands of this substantial order, the Maryland-based company plans to expand its workforce, hiring across engineering, software development, and systems integration. The project will operate under strict compliance with U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations and the Arms Export Control Act to ensure secure technology transfer.
