Corporate Leaders to Unveil Bipartisan Justice Reform Agenda

The event, titled "Business, Justice, & The Next 250," marks a pivot for the Responsible Business Initiative for Justice (RBIJ). As the nation approaches Constitution Day, the coalition argues that the current justice system—which has created a legacy of roughly 77 million justice-impacted Americans—serves as a barrier to national productivity. By restricting access to employment and housing, these systemic hurdles have effectively shrunk talent pools and stifled economic growth.

Participants, including leaders from Flikshop, Flagger Force, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will advocate for a model centered on transparency and consistency rather than purely punitive measures. RBIJ CEO Maha Jweied emphasized that the justice system is inextricably linked to workforce stability and community safety, making corporate involvement a necessity. With support from The Just Trust, the upcoming policy agenda seeks to establish bipartisan solutions that promote long-term stability and fairness across state and federal jurisdictions.
