Marco's Pizza Foundation Hits $1 Million Milestone for Junior Achievement

The Marco's Pizza Foundation has funneled $1 million into Junior Achievement USA, a contribution that pushes the organization’s total charitable giving past the $1.5 million mark. This funding, largely gathered through register round-ups at locations nationwide, supports financial literacy and entrepreneurship programs for students.

Brandon Hudson, a multi-unit franchisee who oversees 13 stores, serves as the newly appointed president of the foundation. For Hudson, the partnership carries personal weight; he participated in Junior Achievement programs during high school in Chicago, an experience he credits with shaping his own entrepreneurial trajectory. Under his leadership, the foundation is leveraging its store network to fuel local chapters, ensuring that donations remain within the communities where customers live and work.

Beyond the partnership with Junior Achievement, the foundation has directed $475,000 toward No Kid Hungry as part of its broader mission to address food insecurity and workforce development. The company maintains that these efforts are central to its corporate culture, which emphasizes community engagement alongside business growth. By integrating philanthropy into the point-of-sale experience, Marco's Pizza aims to provide consistent backing for education and local economic opportunities.
