RT500 Luxury Tower Opens Doors as Berkeley Heights Campus Evolves

With the first residents moving into the 179-unit RT500 tower on August 1, The Park in Berkeley Heights is solidifying its shift from a corporate office hub into a dense mixed-use destination. The arrival of the luxury residential building signals a new phase in the ongoing $500 million redevelopment of the 185-acre site.

The 11-story structure introduces a suite of hospitality-focused amenities designed to mirror the project's broader "work resort" philosophy. Residents gain access to an integrated co-working floor connected by an internal staircase to a recreational game room featuring multisport simulators and billiards. These spaces are intended to bridge the gap between home and office, allowing tenants to utilize professional-grade environments without leaving the residential footprint.

Beyond the building's interior, the development relies on its connectivity to District Drive, the campus's primary artery for dining and wellness. Shane Connell, executive vice president of The Connell Company, stated that the integration of living, working, and social spaces is the primary driver behind current leasing momentum. Residents are granted exclusive access to existing campus facilities, including the FIELDHOUSE fitness center and Round Table Studios. The surrounding 185-acre campus serves as a comprehensive ecosystem, currently anchored by an Embassy Suites, a 112,000-square-foot Life Time athletic center, and a growing roster of retail concepts ranging from breweries to specialized wellness clinics.
